Not a 100-day plan. Just 31 days!

As the past 31 days come to a close, I’ve taken a moment to reflect on what’s fuelled my mind, heart, inspiration and learning.

For me, it was the energy of conversing with practitioners who come together with humility, curiosity, and a shared desire to drive meaningful change.

I learned more about the transformative work of The END Fund at an evening event, "Navigating the Impact of Climate on Health", held at The Conduit, London.

I was grateful to the great speakers— Mithika Mwenda, Pan African Climate Justice Alliance, Alan Dangour, Wellcome Trust, Ciara Judge, Infectious Disease Epidemiologist—and Mireille Mather for her moderation.

The message was clear: climate is not an environmental issue - it’s a health emergency, especially for the world’s most vulnerable.

At the Skoll World Forum, I was energised by moderating a session at TheSidebar on Trust-Based Philanthropy, and co-leading a discussion on "Breaking Silos, Building Systems: Cross-Sector Partnerships for Scalable, Sustainable Impact".

Yesterday, I co-hosted a webinar exploring the question: "Is locally driven change a trend, a myth, or a necessity?". The conversation opened a space to reflect on what localisation means for funders and civil society.

What continues to stay with me:

Collaboratives like the impressive work of the Systemic Climate Action Collaborative are gaining real momentum. Collaboration is no longer a buzzword; it’s becoming the default for those committed to systemic transformation and dismantling silos.

And the remarkable practitioners, I met added a touch of magic to it all, naming business partner and friend; Silvia Bastante de Unverhau and practitioners including Adetunji Eleso, Nina Hoas, Bridie LaydenSofia PapadakakiJenny ThorntonTalia Milgrom-Elcott , Wende ValentineSeth CochranMichelle Zhang amongst others.

I’m holding onto this for the next phase: "As our problems are human-made, so are the solutions. And progress begins when we commit to solving them!"
