Life’s bittersweet moments…

My daughter's school graduation was two weeks ago, marking a major milestone and a moment of pride for her, other parents, and classmates. But beneath the celebration, I felt a deeper, bittersweet sense of one chapter closing and another beginning.
What stayed with me was everything beneath it. The expectations around what education for the next generation leaders should look like and what counts as "the right path“. As a mother who broke from my family's tradition, I carry a particular responsibility: to prepare and hold space for my daughter to step out and fully embrace the big world out there.
That responsibility extends further too: raising a daughter who can one day lead with the same courage, while trusting that her version of success need not mirror anyone else's.
My work in philanthropy has only reinforced this belief: that one of the greatest gifts we can offer is the freedom for others to define success on their own terms and the support to pursue it.
