“If you dream it, you can do it…”

I saw this quote (in French) on the wall of a meeting room last week, and it felt like a simple, beautiful reminder of what’s possible when peers collaborate and dream together.

One of the most powerful ways to build strong working relationships? Time spent together - face-to-face. And that’s exactly what last week was all about for me.

After over a year of working together, I finally had the pleasure of meeting my client’s teams in person for the first time in Amsterdam and Geneva. We spent half a day in a workshop - working through the agenda, planning, and simply connecting. Being together in person made everything so much easier, and it was such a joy to get to know each other properly. The difference was immediate, and I know that it will make future engagements more personal, natural, and productive.

It also made me reflect on the importance of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos taking place this week… where leaders from business, government, and civil society from all corners of the world are gathering in person to share ideas, shape agendas, and tackle the pressing challenges we all face.

Just like my client engagements, real progress happens when we are present, when we listen, exchange perspectives, and build trust face-to-face. Nothing replaces that human connection - the conversations, the small moments, the shared energy.

Here’s to more time spent together, better understanding each other, and making things happen- not just on paper, but for real!
